Q&A with the Artist
What is your favorite piece of artwork that you have ever made?
My favorite piece I have ever created is a postage stamp design. It was just a simple college project but I loved the way it came out graphically. It was to commemorate the Freedom Tower, One World Trade Center at Ground Zero.
Who in the art community do you look up to?
I would have to say the Illustrator Dan Mumford and his spectacular work based on film and television.
What kinds of plans or aspirations do you have for your art career?
I am currently a Senior Graphic Designer at my company OccuNomix International. I have been there for just about 7 years. I would love to become an Art Director someday. Particular at a Marketing Firm or Print Design firm.I always said when I was young I would love to be an Art Director for Rolling Stone magazine.
Do you have any suggestions for other artists who may just be starting out?
Simple. Just do what you love. If your passionate enough you can make a career out of anything.
